Our lecture presentation on Automated Vehicles with the Edmonton Insurance Association was a great success. Thank you to everyone who attended, and to the EIA for working with us on this presentation! We look forward to doing more projects like this in the future!
Our lecture covered the technology and its effects, on health and safety, ethics, society, and the legal and insurance industries. The group who attended asked many insightful questions. We were happy to close the lecture with an in depth discussion of the technology and how it will effect us. Automated vehicles are such a pivotal technology. It’s hard to encompass all the potential changes in any one discussion, but we sure gave it a try. From the comments we received, our audience left with a new perspective on the changes we as a society will soon face.
If you are interested in a presentation of one of our lectures at your office for continuing educations credits, please contact us. Most presentations are free and can be organized during a lunch hour. We present in Edmonton and Calgary primarily, but we are open to presenting in smaller cities and communities as well.
